 Great Food in Dallas/Plano/Wylie Area Any suggestions? We are going for a weeks vacation and need some good chow. Thanks!

 Next Week! We are going next week and will need to find great local food. I am not a fan of chain restaurants for every meal. I would like to eat where the family run/chef run restaurants are. I would imagine there must be some there! Thanks Kelleybean! I do know we will be sampling some fine Panini Pastries in Dallas!

 True! Panini Bakery for killer Coconut Macaroons, Chocolate Mousse Cake and White chocolate Raspberry Cake! We also had fudge that did not make it 5 miles it was eaten so fast! YUM! I fell for the Sonic Ocean Water (Sprite with blue coconut.) Good BBQ at the smaller shacks... and I do mean shacks. Buca de Beppo is a fun meal and Poor Richards and Ballard Street Cafe some great B-fast meals. We were about 14-17 folks at a time with lots of kids. We did not hit the 4 star white table cloth places. Great Nachos at the Race Track and the Mesquite Rodeo had BBQ. Big Fun in the Big State.
