Howdy Folks,

I'm a transplanted Texan, currently residing in the bountiful Pacific NW. Former restauranteur/caterer who fled the profession just short of massive burnout. I still love hosting dinners, helping friends and associates with food related affairs, and cooking for my family.My life is still very much gastronomically-centric and eating/cooking/dining top the list of favorite pasttimes for my wife and myself. We volunteer at the local Farmer's Market, are forming a local Slow Food convivium and all of our traveling involves planned or spontaneous food safaris.
