newbie i was fortunate to stumble upon this forum, and i'm continually amazed at the wealth of information that is available and openly shared.
i am an aspiring caterer to be and personal chef as well. i'm at the beginning stages of this career change and have opted to receive training in pastry and culinary as well. my previous experiences have allowed me to approach this new venture with open yet honest eyes. i am not deluded about the rigors or realities of the industry, but find great satisfaction in the opportunity to prepare dishes that others can enjoy.
i look forward to many conversations, a brevy of questions that i'm sure will come as the months pass, and more importantly the comraderie that is widely apparent on this site.
