Chef Hi from Istanbul, TURKEY

Hi everone. I'm Aysecan. I studied economics and 5 years ago i started cooking professionally. I participated many food festivals abroad to demonstrate Turkish cuisine. At the moment I'm working as a kitchen manager in a restaurant in Istanbul. I've been following this site for a long time and it's a great place to learn new things, sharing ideas.

Hello Aysecan, and welcome to Chef Talk. We're delighted to have you with us, and hope you enjoy the site.

If you've been here a while you know that we have articles, reviews, etc. Today we begin a week-long conversation with Harold McGee, which we hope you'll follow and participate in.

I visited Istanbul briefly many years ago and was impressed by the richness of the past and energy of the present. We'll all look forward to your posts.
