I'm a home cook learning to do a better job of feeding myself and guests. For now, I'm focusing on prep. Last Saturday I took Calphalon's knife skills class in Chicago.This web site looks like a great place to pick up information. I hope I have something to contruibute. |

| welcome aboard grimmie. If you want to study more on your knife skills, a great text to have is Professional Cooking, 3rd edition by Wayne Gisslen, I think they already have put out both the 4th edition and Professional Cooking for Canadian Chef's as well, but I studied from the 3rd edition when I went through food training so I recomend it. anyway hope you enjoy this site. |
