Clown I'm a newbie!

Just signed up and wanted to get out there. My name is M'Lissa and I own an online hot sauce, grilling sauce, seasonings and apron store. I purchased it last year and am having so much fun! I saw this site and thought, what a great idea! Hope to learn lots!!

Check us out when you get a chance. We pride ourselves on unique and hard to find products and are family owned.

Hello M'Lissa and welcome to Chef Talk. I love the hot stuff too- and I don't mean your Las Vegas weather.

If you do a search on this board you can find conversations we've had about chilis, hot sauce and other volcanic comestibles. And you'll see we're fun people to hang out with, too. In the current cooking articles is a piece about grilling the perfect steak, and you'll see some archived articles that will interest you I'm sure. There are recipes, cookbook reviews and an e-newsletter you can sign up for. Whew! That's a lot! We hope you enjoy the site and the community.

Regards,
Mezzaluna

Clown Thanks!

I will check it out. I will also forward this to my aunt. She owns The Kitchen Depot in Medford, OR and has weekly cooking classes in her shop. If anyone is in the area it is www.kitchendepotfinecooking.com for a list of her fantastic classes. She is the one who sold me my shop. I look forward to learning as much as I can so if you have anything coming up on the hot stuff, I would love to know about it.

M'Lissa, I detect a theme of Greek cooking there on your aunt's site. Does that describe you too?

Probably just the month. She is Lithuanian by blood (although we were told we were polish for decades) but Italian by marriage and cooking. Her classes depend on scheduling the chefs and who's available I think. Quite a nice set up in her shop though. Just browsing the conversations now for hot stuff! I am Lithuanian by blood, Japanese by marriage, and mexican food for cooking! I love the hot stuff!
