Hello from Northern California

And I mean the REAL northern California... up near the Oregon border! I am from Redding, and I love to bake. Most everything else I leave to my husband who is what I like to call a "hobby" chef. He has natural ability that I do not possess. However, I do keep up on the chefs of the world, including Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Bourdain and the like. Yes, I was introduced to them by the tellie, but beyond that I respect their vision and their attitude toward food. Plus they are both real characters and Bourdain can write a mean narrative!!! Anyhow... I am in here just to get a look and a taste of what the forum has to offer. Anything I can gain insight into will help me tremendously.
