Red face A quick hello!!

Hello!! Greeting from the eastern coast of Canada!!
I've just joined and wanted to say hi to all of the wonderful people out there. A little about me, I am an executive chef at a resort property here. This is my first executive position, and so far it's been challenging, not so much the cooking and creativity, but the people management. This is taking somewhat a little bit to get used to. I don't have a lot of time for anything else in my life other than work and my family, but feel out of contact with other people in the world. I do manage to get to my computer daily, so I thought that I would perhaps get to "meet" some people on here who have a lifestyle like my own. Most people in the hospitality business have no friends other than other people in the hospitality business, I am starting to find out after 10 years working in this field.
Okay..this was supposed to be quick. I hope to be popping in often and getting to know you all, as well as sharing ideas, etc.
