Default scottish

I am so pleased to come on this form I have been trying some of the scottish recipies and had good luck also some bad. I am from Glasgow but have lived in Canada for over 40yrs I just long for some of the food I had when I was a kid in Glasgow so that is what got me started. I have tried the Scottish tablet not had much luck with that and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong so would like some help with it. Have made some rolls although they turned out not to bad, but who knows maybe my taste has changed hope not. Have made the lorne sausages not exactly the same but at least did not have to put them in the bin, That is all for now hope I can get someone to E-mail me.

Hello HotMama! Welcome to Chef Talk. Thank you for introducing yourself.

As you can see, we have many forums for discussion of cooking and other topics. Browse them and post your questions in whichever one suits your question best. (We ask that you leave the professionals' forums as read-only for home cooks like you and me. Post as you wish in all the others!)

You can use the search feature here to find topics of interest to you that have been discussed previously. There's so much here! I hope you find our community helpful, useful and enjoyable, and that you visit often to learn and share.

Regards,
Mezzaluna
