Wasted Hello, I'm new and glad to be here!

My name is conniemc, I cook at home, sad to say but I'm almost 50 yo and still learning to cook!. Does any one know any secrets to getting raisins to stay in the zucchini loaves instead of sinking to the bottom? I have tried everything I could think of. We live on a farm and have fresh vegetables that I try to do something with.

Dust them with flour before mixing them in. That should help. Don't know if it will solve the problem totally.

Welcome, unofficially, from one of the grateful people who found this site.

Welcome to Chef Talk, Connie! We're glad you found us. If you scan down the main page, you'll see the "Pastries and Baking General Forum", where you may find the answer to your baking question (although I think Free Rider - who can give an official welcome, too!- hit the nail on the head with that suggestion). If you don't see anything posted there right now, try using the search button to search earlier threads for ideas. The professional pastry and baking forum may also have an answer for you, but home cooks like you and I should consider that one "read only". Don't worry, the pros come to the other forum too!

We hope you enjoy Chef Talk. Visit often to learn and share!
Regards,
Mezzaluna
