Default hello everyone

Hello, my name is brienne and right now im currently taking culinary arts at niagara college, this is my first year and so far these past few weeks im loving it!!. I LOVE to cook!
If anyone has any good tips to give me or ideas to help me improve i would greatl appreciate it. One day i will become a professional chef and maybe have my own restaurant business, (this is my dream)!!! I'm thinking far ahead but thats what i hope to accomplish in my life. im 22 and i have a background of chefs in my family, my bro is an executive chef so that helps me out a bit.
But i would like to hear from all over the world and i think this is a great place to start!
thank-you

well i have worked in a fine dining restaurant here for co-op, it was where my brother worked, and i really enjoyed helping him and others out, i like doing the little things like pastry, it helped me learn how to do presentation etc. but i like to do a variety of things , thats why i chose this course, i love the enviroment and i like getting compliments, but dont we all!

sungirl,
If you think that you may be in ownership one day. I would suggest taking as many business courses you can take while in school.
