Default new in the kitchen

Hi, I had been bartending for many years and decided to try the fine dining route.
Before I knew what was happening I ended up in the kitcken and have gained a whole new perspective on this industry.
I love cooking and am constantly eager to learn more.
I am also trying to manage a beautiful historic venue and am need of some assistance, ( I can"t do it all)
Vast experience is front of house.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Witch

Confused

Hi,
I'm a nurse looking to change careers. I'd love to follow my passion for baking and am seriously thinking about studying pastry. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

My hat is off to all nurses. You are the backbone of our medical system. You rock Until you or a loved one has spent some time in a hospital you can't possibly appreciate the love and kindness of the nursing staff.
Without you we would have no one to feed.

Hello kjohnson33! Looks like this thread has become a little raft for new members. Take a look at the pastry and baking forums; their archives; and the search button for those questions whose answers you don't see. We hope you enjoy browsing the site and participating in Chef Talk.

Regards,
Mezzaluna
