| I just joined the Chef Talk website and am looking forward to meeting and conversing with all the wonderful people here. I was in the business world for several years in sales and marketing then IT. A few years ago I decided to go to culinary school and worked at a hotel doing banquets and then in a fine dining restaurant. Now I cook at an independent living/assisted living facility in CT and enjoy the hours and personal nature of the job. My impressions of cooking professionally? Never a dull moment. I look forward to my future in this crazy field.

| Hey, i'm new as well. I come from a busines background and decided to forget that garbage and focus on my real love, whcih is everything cooking. So, cooking for me is very personal in nature and I wouldn't want to do anyhting else. |
