hi gang!

Just a quick post before I jump in the vast world of Chef Talk.

I am a French-Canadian who's been living in the US for over 16 years. Don't try to read my posts with an imaginary French accent because I have none to speak of.

Cooking is something that I think about a lot, read about a lot and do in cycles. I am a home cook. My father who cooked consistently was from France and my upbringing is predominently about French Food (though of course at the time all I wanted was hot dogs and spaghetti).

When my dad died all I wanted was his cookbook collection. So that's the gist of it.
