Default Greetings

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm a 22 y/o male in the DC area. I love food and grew up in an Asian household so that sort of spills over into all of my cooking and recipes. I'm really an amateur cook but I enjoy writing recipes and I just got my first set of professional knives the other day (some really nice Global knives) so I look forward to contributing to the forum and learning a lot from you all.

Welcome to the forum Kitchenlove this is only like my second or third day but everyone seems so helpful and knowledgeable. Now when you say Asian what country do you mean because I sure could use some help with Thai recipes... I don't suppose...

Also my Japanese could use some work... not my Japanese cooking but my language skills.

Am I even close?
