I'm a home cook who loves both old favorites & new recipes. One of the old family favorites is a soup we simply called "Danish Soup." Ingredients include small meat balls, little egg dumplings, beef broth, served over rice. My mom had a wonderful press (similar to a cookie press) she used to make the dumplings a uniform shape. I'd like to buy one. Is it familiar to anyone? Where did you buy it?

I'd be interested to know more about that dumpling soup. I was in Denmark many years ago and enjoyed a milk-based soup with little crispy vanilla-flavored cookies. I think my hostess called it "summer soup". I'd be happy to have a recipe if you have any knowledge of it.
