I'm newly registered and just wanted to say hello to everyone.

I've entertained at home (abroad) at a formal level for many years, but now find myself living in more casual and isolated circumstances in another country. I am looking for information on stoves and will check your postings for advice.

Nice to meet you, Emiko. There are many threads discussing ranges, cooktops and ovens here; fortunately we have a good search tool to help you locate them. Some may be quite outdated by now, so don't hesitate to post a question if you don't see something that's useful to you.
