| Hello from NC. Just found your site today and l look forward to having a new place to talk food. I am the owner of a personal chef service in the Raleigh-Durham area. I also teach cooking classes a local B&B in Fuquay Varina. I come from a food driven family. My mother and my sister were both home economics teachers and my dad did some catering on the coast of NC. My first gig was with my father at a small breakfest counter in Swansboro. I was about 13 and working the flat grill. Love to cook, love to teach and love to eat Later Slate |

| Slate, you can add to your last sentence, "Love to visit Chef Talk"; I know you're going to enjoy it here! Browse the forums, take a look at the cooking articles, cookbook reviews and recipes. Use the search tool if you don't see something you're seeking information on. This is a great place to meet others, from your own backyard in North Carolina to the kitchens of Singapore. We hope you visit often and participate in our community. Welcome! Mezzaluna
