Hubby and I have 3 grown daughter's,

Welcome to Chef Talk, Domestic Goddess! I'm also a Wisconsinite (Pewaukee) and there is a number of us here. It sounds like you have a bustling family life!

Please enjoy wandering around the board, including the forums, excellent cooking articles, cookbook reviews and recipes. We also have a pretty decent search tool that will help you check to see if a topic has been discussed previously.

I'm sure you're making some cold weather dishes these days. What are some of your favorite things to cook this time of year? Braised meats (post roast, etc.) are high on my list during our winters.

Visit often to learn and share. We'll look forward to your participation!
Regards,
Mezzaluna

As for preparing some "cold weather dishes", during this time of year,
I most enjoy preparing a variety of home-cooked soups.
Today for lunch I happened to prepare the following soup,
Kielbasa Bean Soup, which was quick and easy to make, and oh so good.
I'll be posting this recipe here.
