I'm a FACS teacher, and teach Foods I. This is my 29th year teaching at the same school. I have 15 bookcases full of cookbooks, love to cook and try out new recipes!!

Welcome, Barbara! You've got me beat by a country mile in the cookbook department, but I'll bet Suzanne can give you a run for your money.

A good friend and wonderful former colleague of mine taught what you do (we call it Family and Consumer Education, FACE, in Wisconsin) for about as long as you did. She was so inspiring and made it her mission to guide the most reluctant student to find his/her strengths within the structure of her class and curriculum. I taught for 30 years myself (general studies for special education students, later I was a reading specialist) so my hat's off to you for your dedication and interest in your students.

You're going to love it here, so we hope you visit and participate often. Enjoy the community!
