Default Good Morning to all..!

I've been decorating cakes on and off for about 25 years! I finally got my degree and since I couldn't get a job teaching and large hotels don't have large events anymore I couldn'g get hired, long story..basically a lot of places said they wouldn't "insult me" with the begining pay...( I was desperate to be insulted...lol)

My 17 month internship trip through Europe , New Zealand and Australia fell through, so I used the money I had saved to open up a Little Pink Barbie Custom Bake Shop.

Found a concept, ran with it...Been on 7 local TV shows...Internet radio, a small blurb in one Newspaper and a 3 page spread in another..all less than 6 months after I opened, but I'm still the Red Headed Stepchild of the school because of the types of cakes I design!

One of my customers is a conciergie company that has ordered cakes for people like the Head CEO of NASCAR ( don't ask me who...My head is so buried up my cakes that I have no knowledge of any current events! lol all I know is they paid well!! Very well!!!! )

I know I'm not the best cake decorator around nor the most knowledgable, but I try and my customer service ( when I'm not over tired and stress from working my 10/15 hour days) cannot be beat.

..I keep an open mind as I love learning from others...I love sharing my techniques...unless I've figured something out and then I will have to "THINK" about it..lol and my recipes are a state secret and if I tell you...I'd have to cover you in icing and sell you!!!!

( I hope that I didn't/don't offend anyone!! I do tend to let my strong personality "shine" though at times )
