Lightbulb Personal Chef from South Carolina

Hi Everbody!

I found this forum while searching for a recipe on the Net and I'm just thrilled to make this discovery.

I belong to the USPCA and enjoy the networking there, but have been searching for a broader base and hope this is the spot!

I've loved to cook my whole life and really enjoy my vocation. My clients' tastes run the gammit from special diets to comfort foods to ethnic foods and gourmet. I cook multi-meals for families and also do cooking classes and dinner parties.

Please feel free to email me any time and I look forward to making culinary connections!

Debbie

Hello Debbie! You won't believe your good luck in finding Chef Talk. We have an array of forums for professionals, but you'll also enjoy the general forums, the cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes, special guests forum, archives..... well, there's enough to keep you busy in whatever spare moments you have with your busy business. If that weren't enough, you can look for earlier discussions on topics by using the search feature here.

I think our mixture of professionals, food lovers and skilled home cooks from all over the world is unique in online food-related communities. We hope you'll participate every chance you get.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna

Default One more category

Thanks so much for the hearty welcome. I wish you had a separate category for professional personal chefs. Most of us don't have employees and we work in our clients' homes. We definitely have our own issues...both business and culinary, as we "cook to store" most of the time instead of "cook to serve." We don't have the issues of labor and overhead of having a brick & mortar business, but have other issues that arise as we prepare meals in different kitchens almost daily. And we print our own menus daily, too!

Hope you will consider this. :-)

Debbie
