Thumbs up Hello From Minnesota

Hello,

My name is David Duncan. I live in the twin cities metro area of Minnesota with my wife, Margaret. We have three grown children (Empty Nesters!) and two grandchildren. We are both in our late 40's. We both love great food. Myself, I have been in foodservice since 1979, involved in a variety of operations from small "Mom and Pop" operations to major hotel operations. My foodservice career started as a dishwasher and working my way through every kitchen position except Executive Chef. Though I have had no formal culinary education, I have had the good fortune of apprenticing under a number of seasoned and talented chefs through the years. For the past seven years, I have worked in a corporate dining operation as a Sous Chef and Safety Trainer. Over the years, I have learned that one can never learn enough about food or from those who have been fortunate to experience food in a way you haven't already experienced.
