Smile Howdy Ya'll , I am new.

Howdy, I am from Texas and new to the forum. I am a Stay at home mom, run a small home dairy farm, make cheese and sew clothes and home interiors for several interior designers. I love to cook and used to own a catering business years ago. Excited to see what the experts have to say here.....I know a lot but can always use some help. thanks for having me.....Littlemama

Howdy back at you, LittleMama! We're glad you found us, too. Our community is about half home cooks, half professionals; everyone is welcome.

You make your own cheese? You'll be interested to read the conversation we had earlier this year with Sid Cook, master cheesemaker from here in Wisconsin. Although that forum is closed to new posts, feel free to start your own thread about cheesemaking. We have plenty of members who are interested in cheese, and some who've tried cheesemaking.

We'll look forward to seeing you here to participate often. Welcome!
Regards,
Mezzaluna

What part of Texas? the gulfcoast, south of Houston.

Yes , I make cheeses....all kinds, with much success. I have two new cheese presses, a new fresh cow and a new fangled milking machine so my chees production should go way up for me now.

Hey Cora! Sheila here(CPPCS). Good to see a friendly face. I'd recognize that sweet cow anywhere. This looks like a real nice site.
