| | First timer today Hi to all of you. I am new here. I found it by accident searching out foodie forums. I'm a lover of all things food related. Have been frequenting several bulletin food boards for years now. It's one of the first things I do when I turn on the computer, check out who's cookin what. It's my nature to advice if needed. I will help anyone if I know how, on preparing anything or any questions, to the best of my ability. I am not a know it all, I have much to learn. But I am eager and cooking as well as baking is my passion, always has been always will be. It's inbred in me from my family years ago. Family is my passion too and my husband and I are married all our lives and have 3 wonderful kids. I hope to get to know you all very soon, in the meantime, cook happy! Issue Cork |

| | Hi LuvPie! We're glad you found us. I'm an avid home cook myself and can assure you this is the best place on the web for people like us. Not only do we have wonderful forums, but we also have cooking articles, cookbook reviews and recipes. The search tool is a big help when you're looking for a particular topic.
We hope you stop in often to share and learn!
Regards,
Mezzaluna

| | I'm pretty new here. It's a fun site, lots of personalities and expertise (which I don't have). I get great ideas and recipes from people who are tops.

| | LuvPie, links and photos can't be posted here until you've posted 15 times. Sorry for the inconvenience- we'd been slammed with lots of spammers. We appreciate your patience with this.
OregonYeti, thanks! We're glad you found us, too.

| | I think you mean "amuse bouche"- literally, "entertain the mouth". It's a little bite to get your tastebuds in gear and start the juices flowing for your first course. It's usually something savory (rather than sweet). I believe Michael Tramonto, chef of Tru in Chicago, has a whole book full of recipes for these tasty bites.
We have a click-through link to Amazon.com, where Chef Tramanto's book is for sale.
As for the link/photo problem... I don't know! I suggest you click on Nicko's name (right hand column) and ask, as he's the technical guru for this board.

| | thank you Mezzaluna. I thought I knew it but can't find a definition anywhere, must be the misspellling of the term.
I did click on Nicko and think that maybe I do have a reply.
Blessings...........
