Hi, I just posted you a salad in the Recipes forum.

Have you lived in Singapore long? I was there on a job a few years ago, doing the Singapore to Deigo Garcia freight run.
Will never forget the size of that shipyard (we were in for repairs for a couple of weeks) and the size and efficiency of the docks. Guess Rotterdam is bigger, Wow.
Take care, and Welcome!!
Nan

Default Shrimp salad

Thanks Shipcook for the recipe, definitely sounds delicious but getting some of the spices/herbs might be a little challenging.. will go shop around a little.
I live in S'pore for the past 30 years, wonderful country except for the humidity Hope you had a pleasant stay here.

Did you get a chance to try our signature Chilli and Pepper Crab?

no, darn it, as a matter of fact, just read about that after I got home.
I ate a lot over in the stalls in Litle India, there was a great Thai Noodle place there. Had several lunches down on the river, all good.
And enjoyed going to people watch in the afternoon at the Borders bookstore patio resturant-- some wine, the smoked salmon caesar and get one of the many wonderful newspapers that have there.
Take care,
Nan
Maybe Little India would be a good place to look for spices?
