Hi Moth!

Since you're a new member with us you won't be able to include links in your messages yet- only text. Please introduce yourself here and tell us a bit about yourself.

We hope you visit often!

If what you are trying to say is that cooking is kind of meditative for you, I'm totally with you. Especially making bread and pastries, like a mousse or something, I use it for therapy. If I'm feeling blue, I come home and cook or bake something (not necessarily eat it).

I agree with you a 100%;however you seem to have more conviction than me. I bake my cake and eat it too! Also, I would like you to take a minute and visit my website meditativecookingdotcom to learn more about me and my love of cooking. Nice to know you!

Default Greetings

I'm new here an unexperienced with forums (too old).
I got here through Peter Reinhart's web page. I've been using his Bread Bakers Apprentice book and have questions about some of his instructions and techniques. I' not sure that this is the right place for these questions but I'll startusing the forum and see what I can see.

Hi Caviar, and welcome! You'll want to return to the main page and post questions in the baking forums. We have one that's primarily for professionals to post in and one for enthusiastic home bakers. In any case, you're encouraged to enjoy reading everything here. We have a search tool to help you locate topics from earlier conversations. It's located near the top of the screen.

Let us know if you have a question about how to use the forums and the board. Someone will always help you.

We'll look forward to seeing you often!
Regards,
Mezzaluna
