Smile Hi from a Kiwi foodie

Hi everyone,
Just found this forum and am looking forward to learning much.
I work full time in an office job, but love cooking and am now setting up a commercial kitchen to make gourmet cookies and also do catering jobs from time to time. Will continue to work full time until the business gets off the ground, so it's certainly a busy time ahead for me.

Welcome, Ginny! It sounds like you're an ambitious person. What kinds of cookies do you make? Will you sell retail or wholesale? You're lucky to have found a commercial kitchen for your project, from what I hear.

We hope you wander around the site and see what we have to offer: the forums, cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes and the photo gallery. There's so much here!

Visit often- we'll look forward to your participation.
Regards, Mezzaluna

I'm making a range of different cookies, will be retail at first. My friend has bought a house for me to rent, and she's building a kitchen in the basement for me to rent from her....I have bought all the basic gear needed in the kitchen, but was in no financial position to buy a house or build a kitchen myself, so this has been an amazing blessing. Am also having a website built for the cookies.....so it's a very, very busy time but I am enjoying it a great deal. Thank you for your welcome!
