Default I'd like to introduce myself..

Hi, I'm Chris and I'm living in upstate NY.

I really enjoy cooking Mediterranean inspired dishes. That joy was given to me this summer as I spent my summer in the south of France feasting on the best foods around.

I ADORE French pastries and Italian food. I am not a fan of a lot of vegetables but am trying to work on that. I am allergic to seafood so Greek inspired Mediterranean food is almost out of the question.

I am here to learn some new recipes, to offer my recipes, and to learn more about cooking.

I'm a young guy and they say girls love one that can cook. So there's a good reason to learn more; but the main reason is: I LOVE to cook.

It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid to open a bar one day. However, I've learned I am not really a fan of American food. I would like to consider opening my own café one day; a gourmet one, serving the dishes I love that are also easy to make and people can enjoy them. But that would be 10+ years from now. I would certainly see it as amazingly fun! And that's what cooking is about.

I hope to be around for a very long time and to learn from all of you and hopefully you can learn a thing or two from me.

My best dishes are pesto, brushetta, and homemade, Italian inspired pizza. Next time I make it, I'd love to post pictures and give the recipe. :- )

Bon apetite!
Chris
