Default Hello from New Zealand

Hello everyone. My name is Gillian and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. My husband and I grow and sell fresh cut herbs to wholesalers and restaurants. We are interested to learn more about how different herbs are being used.

Hello Gillian and welcome to Chef Talk! You've come to the best place on the web to connect with professionals and avid home cooks. You can expect to get solid information about using herbs to help your business, too. I'd say the "Food and Cooking Questions Discussion" forum would be best, as it's open to all comers (pro and amateur alike), so you'd get the broadest audience there.

What herbs do you grow? Are there any that are indigenous to New Zealand or to local cookery?

We hope you visit and participate often! Enjoy all the great features of this site.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna

Hello Mezzaluna, thank you for responding. We grow many herbs including Angelica, Basil, Chives, Coriander, Dill, Thyme, Sage, Mint, Lemon Grass, Italian Parsley, Rosemary, Bay leaves, Kaffir Lime leaves, Rocket, Cress ... Not sure if any are indigenous to New Zealand.

I am looking forward to learn more.

Essence, I'm sure the cooks in your neighborhood appreciate the fresh herbs you grow.

I forgot to mention the Chef's Garden forum! You'll want to hang out there.
