As our tagline says, we are indeed a foodlover's link to professional chefs. The chefs who hang out here are open to learning from the home cooks too! We strive to maintain an open, friendly atmosphere here and hope you enjoy visiting and participating often.

What do you enjoy cooking? Are there ingredients you especially enjoy using? Any fall dishes on your menu, with the apples, squash and other fall fruits and veggies coming in?

Been doing lots of cookies lately. Have a brisket to be smoked in the fridge right now. But the western slope colorado peaches are in and seem pretty good. The summer heat did in a lot of the local produce I've seen, its okay but not as good as normal.

Did hear some funny gossip yesterday though. It seems a family on the east side of St Paul was doing the entrepreneurial thing for the after hours bar rush. They were doing 80 sandwiches 3 night a week for 3 hours in their home.The HD shut them down so they are looking for a new space right now.
