Default Hullo! Fresh meat here (so to speak)

I just started exploring cooking forums a couple of weeks ago and find them fascinating. I thought I'd pop in and introduce myself.

I'm 36 yrs old and live with my husband and insane kitty in Fort Worth, Tx. I have pretty much learned all of my cooking skills (which are limited) by either trying things out or researching the net.

Right now I am off work due to some health issues so I've been cooking up a storm and having a blast! I am always on the lookout to learn new tricks and try new recipes!

Hello MsAnya and welcome to Chef Talk. Your off-work time won't be wasted if you spend it here! There's a lot to explore here (cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes, the photo gallery and all the forums) so get crackin'- then, get cookin'!

We hope to see you here and hope you participate in the community.

What have been some of your successes in the kitchen?

Enjoy! Regards,
Mezzaluna

Thank you for the welcome! I came in 2nd in a bakeoff at work for my chocolate chip coconut cookies. That was pretty exciting! I think my husband's favorite recipe that I cook is Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Cream. I pretty much have to make it at least once a month or he gets crabby. *LOL*

Then why not share the recipes with us? We have a forum just that.
