Hello, I am a professional baker/cake decorater based in lovely southern minnesota I have been decorating cakes almost a year and baking off and on since 1982 I have a MAJOR passion for cake decorating and my wife and kids agree that I should try competition but I don't have the confidence yet. I look forward to hearing from anyone with advice or questions I can help them with.

I'm sure you've found the two pastry forums, but don't miss the photo gallery! It's chock full of gorgeous sugar work, some of which is award-winning (Momoreg, for example, has won twice at the Oklahoma Sugar Show; there are others too!).

I hope you visit often and participate when you can. After you've participated by posting, you'll be able to upload photos of your work. (I think the minimum is 15 posts.) We'll look forward to seeing you here and to viewing your work in due time.
