Default Hi!

Hello everyone!

I'm so happy to have found this forum. I love to cook, and have the reputation among my friends as being really good at cooking.

I'm completely self-taught through reading and practicing and always looking for improvement because I know in reality I know very very little.

Cooking appeals to my creativity and my senses, of course. Also, because there's something very visceral and loving and genuine about cooking meals for the people you love, and the ritual of eating- of literally breaking bread with your friends and loved ones- that other experiences can not replicate.

So that's me, sort of in general.

If I have any specialty it's probably a brunch/breakfast meal.

Especially French toast. I don't make my bread from scratch, but I have a lovely organic store not too far from me and I usually get a rustic country Italian loaf of some sort for my French toast.

A little cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla to the egg mixture and it's a crowd pleaser, for sure.

Thanks for the welcome!
