Default Airline pilot by way of NYC kitchens...

Hi!!!!!!!!! I am a pilot for an airline in FL and a former NYC chef... I love the site and still keep my hand in cooking with a teaching/catering job in my wifes business. I also write for aviation publications and am looking to spread out into cooking publications.. I will be linking some of my stuff and am hoping for some "foodie" feedback! Thanks

Hello laxflier and welcome to Chef Talk. WE hope you enjoy exploring the board and interacting in the community.

Aviation + culinary = -- at least for most passengers! May be you can get some good stuff going for your airline. I realize many are going to bagged meals (Midwest Airline here in MIlwaukee is an exception- you get served on china and they bake chocolate chip cookies on board). At least you have some other areas to take your culinary interests. Do you have special dishes or cuisines you focus on?

We look forward to seeing you here often! Welcome...

Mezzaluna
