Default College student lookin to learn!

Hey, I'm new here so I just tought I should introduce myself

I'm a Palestinian college student, currently studying medicine in Jordan. I live with my brother, and to be honest we never really used the stove in our apartment, but I have always had the eager feeling to use it for something useful, so finally I decided to join a forum where I can get a couple of tips on cooking because restaurant food doesn't do it for me anymore! Hopefully I'll find out I'm a "natural cook" by chance and ill be making a turkey in no time!

Cheers everyone!

Thank you for the introduction, Enjoyit (and we hope you do "enjoy it here ).

My brother is a doctor with a passion for cooking. He finds it very relaxing and perhaps a tad more predictable than the world of medical oncology. I wonder if there's an affinity between medicine and cooking?

We hope you contribute to the forums as you explore this site and gain culinary knowledge through practicing on yourself and your brother.

Salaam and Welcome!

I've noticed that a lot of chemists love to cook. Theres similarities between synthesizing organic chemicals and cooking dinner. I'm working on my BS in Chemistry and I like to cook. Which is good because I would have starved to death a long time ago if I didn't.
