Default Hi...living in China

Hi there--great to meet you all. I am currently teaching in China, Chongqing Special Municipal Area. I have never been a very talented cook, but I do enjoy doing it from time to time.

I am also health conscious, so I've always been into eating very healthy foods and I tend to keep away from the "bad" foods. At the moment however, I trying out the Anabolic Diet, written by Dr. DiPasqual who advocates a high fat diet. This has freed me to have a little more freedom in my diet and I'm hoping some people can help me improve my abilities.

Hello Fiction and welcome to Chef Talk. I have both friends and a relative living in China; I hope you share some of your experiences there (culinary and any others you care to share ).

Since we've had discussions over the years about various ways of eating, you may want to use the search tool here to see if there are some earlier threads that pertain to your style. I looked online and saw the diet has a partial low-carb aspect, and I know you'll find recipes and discussions that pertain to that.

Most of all, we hope you enjoy being part of this international community of professional chefs, home cooks and food-lovers.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna
