well ill start off by sayin im happy i found a good site online to talk about cooking and read up about other cooks and their issues. Im 22, live in NY and have been in the field for about 5 years now. Ive mainly worked at country clubs and a few fine dining establishments. Ive luckily worked under a couple really good chefs that take organization and cleanliness in high regard which has helped me immensely throughout my career. Ive worked my way up slowly from garde manger to sous chef working at a country club where i live. Ill be moving soon down to NC and will hopefully be able to find a nice fine dining gig i can work my way up from once again.

I hope ill be able to learn from what everyone here shares about their passion of food as well as benefiting others with my knowledge and opinions as well.
