Introduction- 1st posting

Hi everybody. I just moved back to civilization recently. I lived in the marsh on the Texas Gulf Coast for 6 years with a barely functional
kitchen. I'm really enjoying a home with a real kitchen and have a little
time on my hands to get re-acquainted with cooking, as I'm recovering
from a fusion on my lower spine. It's progressing quite well (I think), and
I may be back to work in 5-6 weeks. I hope to be a good member of this community.
