Greetings from Lerdo, Durango, Mexico

I'm a 76-year old guy from the States now retired in sunny Mexico. I don't cook much anymore, but I'm still a full-time eater. I have several friends who are excelled cooks. They keep me well stuff with real (not Tex-Mex) Mexican food.

I have a website which chronicles my adventures here. It also includes 30+ photo essays from my friends kitchens -- watching real Mexican food being prepared. I read in the rules that I can't post a link to my webpage yet, so when that restriction is lifted, I'll do it. Some interesting stuff there.

I got a kick out of the sig line of one of the mods: "It is better to ask forgiveness than beg permission." Reminds me of my old work attitude -- do it now, ask later.
