Default Hello from New Jersey

Hello everyone, I just joined this cooking forum and wanted to say a quick hello to everyone out there. I am a professional chef who teaches children from 4-8 yrs. old how to cook.

I have been doing this for the past 10 years and recently published my own cookbook catered to teaching young children how to cook. It is great to meet everyone and hope we can chat more.

Hello TheCook12 and welcome to Chef Talk. We're delighted to have you with us. A number of our members have conducted classes for children (Shroomgirl comes to mind) and more are culinary instructors for adolescents and adults. We've also had discussions about school food (use the search tool to look for those threads) and children's eating habits and nutrition.

Your perspectives and experience will be welcome additions to this community. We hope you visit often!

Regards,
Mezzaluna

Mezzaluna, thank you for the warm welcome. I hope to get to know people in this community and share tips that I have learned over the years.

I hope I can share my children's cookbook with people on this site because maybe they will want to purchase it for their own children.

Very cook site, TheCook12! I love the "no more hot dogs" concept. If people knew how easy it is to serve (and have kids prepare) healthier food, there'd be no more Luchables and "Happy" Meals.
