Hi all,

I just wanted to take a moment to stop and introduce myself, and say hi.
I have been lurking on the site for several weeks getting the nerve to jump in. Possibly I maybe goin through an early midlife but for the last year I have become more and more interested in cooking. I am not by any means a great cook, but I am improving. I am interested in learning and experimenting. So far some experiments have been pretty bad, a few pleasant surprises though. Either way I hope to be able to continue to leach some of the knowledge in here and maybe contribute some of my own.

Of course, to get the most out of your membership here we encourage you to participate in the discussions in the forums. The knowledge you can pick up here is astonishing! But don't underestimate the value of sharing your personal experiences to others here.
