Hi All,

My name is Elizabeth. I just joined the forum and am looking forward to reading the discussions.
A little bit about me.

I have a small business helping people who have just found out they need to be on the gluten free diet. I also teach a variety of cooking classes designed with incorporating more whole foods and grains in the diet. I focus primarily on gluten free cooking and education. I, myself, am gluten free and found the adjustment to the diet quite challenging, thus I created my classes, etc. I graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute and Cookery School in NYC and so most of my talents lie in the health food department.

I live in Arizona with my husband and 4 cats. I have 4 grown children and 2 almost brand new granddaughters. Well, that's about it. Looking forward to the forum.

Hello Elizabeth, and welcome to Chef Talk. We've had a good number of inquiries about gluten-free cooking, so I'm glad we'll have the benefit of your knowledge and expertise. I have a good friend who's eliminated gluten from her diet. She's been experimenting with some mixes, but finds them expensive. She's just started buying various gluten free flours (rice, etc.) and so forth.

I hope you take a bit of time to explore the site. Besides the forums we have cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes, blogs and the photo gallery. We'll look forward to your participation in the discussions.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna
