| Hi everyone! I just found these forums today while searching for some tips on growing herbs. I'm definitely no chef, but I look forward to learning from and participating in these forums! |

| Hi Non chef, Welcome to the forum. I'm keen on growing herbs too, but patience is a problem. Things like Coriander(cilantro) and rocket(arugala?)are easy, cos i just sprinkle them straight into the ground and they tend to look after themselves. I like when the coriander goes to seed and i can gather my second crop. Everything else needs to be started from seed and i'm not having much success with flat leaf parsley, or sage. Any tips? I do cheat sometimes and plant a pot i've bought from the supermarket.- Grew a fab bunch of mint that way, but the dog pee'd on it and killed the lot. Hope to hear from you soon - let us know what you're up to
