Default Hi...I am a newbie here...

I just wanted to say hello to everyone who loves food as much as I do...I think I like cooking it more than eating but I'm not sure!

I am going to be attending school to be a chef in a few years and I wanted to know about it more...I guess I am wondering if it as fun as it sounds and as rewarding as I am hoping??
If anyone wants to tell me what they think I would love the info..even if it's negative, I want to know it all!!

Christina

Hi Christina, and welcome to Chef Talk. Many members have made this site a good place to explore the possibility of entering the culinary world. As you'll learn, it's a business- a business built on the hard work and pride of some of the most creative and passionate people you'll ever meet. But don't forget: it's a business. I suggest you try using our search tool to find earlier conversations about this very topic. You can start in the Culinary students /culinary schools forum and try using the search tool there.

We hope you'll have a good look around the site! Don't miss the cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes, blogs and the photo gallery. There's a lot here to look at and also a wonderful community of professionals (and avid home cooks like me) here to interact with.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna
