| Hi ya'll. I got a e-mail about a internet wine club. It was for three bottles (my choice of red or white) for $30.00 a month. I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about these wine clubs on the net, and if they're a good idea or just smoking mirrors?? $30.00 for three bottles seems kind of cheap for quality wine. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. TIA |

| Is there any way for you to find out more about the wines before joining? I would research each one to learn more about it's quality, if possible. Also, you may want to post this question another forum(The last word on food and wine). I think Cape Chef may be able to help you out. [ June 20, 2001: Message edited by: Svadhisthana ]

| Jay, Do you have the URL of the wine club? See how long they've been on business. Some questions I would ask: Do they have advertisers? Have they been mention in any wine magazine? Who supplies the wines? What are your obligations if you join? Do you have to give them any cash in advance?
