Welcome bigmal,

I would love to get some recipes from you. Here is the frist question. Lets start from the ground up then work up to the other stuff.

How about a recipe for a authentic curry recipe and then red, yellow and green curries (or is that Thai).

Thank you.

D.Lee

Yes Yes Yes! Give us Indian recipes! North, South, everything! Breads, Vegetarian, everything! If I were a Vegetarian I'd wanna be Indian. My first request is... how do you make that crispy two foot wide Dosa?

Love the cuisine from the South, hot hot hot with curry leaves and coconut milk.

I have a nice repertoire too so we could exchange recipes. Looking for a good Chicken Jalfrasie (sp?)...

Also, can't get the Poori to puff up! What's the trick?

Welcome again, Bigmal!

despite my dislike of vegetarianism, the indians have brought it to a very enjoyable gastronimic experience, nuff said, then again i like all foods and am non- discriminatory of the foods, just the people that try to enforce their views on others, depriving more of the wonderful experience of food varieties. I think worse karma is reaped making others forgo life's enjoyments.

Cabal,

Why do you dislike vegetarians so much? I am sure they are not forcing you to become one of them.

Oh yes they were. I did a degree in marine biology. When you have been stuck in a faculty of dolfin worshipping hippy scum gastronomical ignoramuses who have a prejudice against a palate that prefers seafood and bloody meat, you will understand. Its like being a black guy in a KuKluxKlan meeting. Like doctors, they try to make you feel bad about what you like to eat. The anti-hunters and vegetarians have no scientific basis for their beliefs but try to campaign hard anyway. I have my own campaign now
