Default Hello Folks

Hi, I'm Gerard, a culinary student at Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) here in Davao City Philippines. I'm on my 2nd month now. I'm 33 years old with a wife and 2 sons. Ever since i was a kid i really love to cook, maybe because my dad and the whole family is into food processing and cooking. I love to cook especially for my wife and 2 boys. i always dream of becoming a chef. i hope the people here are well enough to share ideas and perhaps techniques, I'm very eager to learn and study the art of cooking, i hope someday i could travel the world, learn and experience other culture especially when it comes to food. I hope that by joining this forum slowly i can pursue my dream of becoming a Chef

Welcome to the forum! Your school sounds very interesting. Which Asian foods would you say they focus on mostly? Would you say Philippino?
