Post Hello

Fennel head missed the beginners forum and felt left out. I have neen cooking for years starting with Julia Childs Mastering 1&2 in 1980. I still have those butter stained books. I love cooking and eating and am looking forward to many discussions. PS: Where is the spell check?

Hi there Fennel Head, great name, it provided me with my first laugh for the day.
It brings to mind a cartoon character with spiky, fluffy hair.

Welcome to Cheftalk Fennel Head/Edward G. Hamm. Don't worry about spelling. If you look at Cape Chef's posts, he has terrible spelling. But he's greatly respected on this site anyway

Soem uv mi bast frenz kantt spal tu sav thr lieves, but I love them just the same! (Apologies to our non-native English speakers, especially if I managed to spell a naughty word in another language!) Another lover of Julia Child and "butta!!" That, plus gin and beef, make her three favorite food groups, I understand. What do you love to cook?

Cape Chef,

I thought it was common knowledge In any case, we all learn so much from you and your posts are often very interesting so it makes no difference at all.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the Canadians on this board spell better on average than the Americans?

Cool

Canadians spell better because their educational system is of a higher level !

The same thing with bread we were discussing the other day!

Cape Chef wait until Athenaeus realizes that Summer is over and returns from the Beach and take your "Blood" back!

Best regards!
