Hello all, my name is Maurice. I'd like to start by saying I love to cook and love to see people enjoying what I cook. I was raised in the south and grew up eating and cooking southern food. Now, I would like to expand my culinary horizons by learning about different types and styles of food. I am a father of 2 boys and my wife and I homeschool them together. My long rang plans are to retire in 3 years and eventually start my own diner.

I'm so glad to have found this forum and be able to share my ideas with other culinary folks. As well as learn from all of you.

Hi Nan, Thanks for your reply. We live in the north central part of Florida. I see your in Alaska, my wife and I love to watch anything about Alaska on television. One of these days I want to take her up there. I've been told the fresh Alaskan salmon is out of this world.
